Take a day out to be with nature by witnessing the majestic Dudhsagar Waterfalls along with enjoying an authentic Goan meal by taking a detour to the Spice Plantations and visiting the Old Goa Church to see the glimpses of Portuguese rule in Goa.
Famous for its breathtaking vistas, the mighty Dudhsagar falls has managed to grab a position in the ten highest waterfalls in Asia cascading from a height of 1017ft. As the name suggests, the “sea of milk” is in reference to the white spray created while water gushes down to the natural pool of tranquil water created at the base of the falls.
According to legendary tale, a bathing princess poured the milk in a cascade to preserve her modesty from a passerby. You will be enthralled to see the lush green forest- known as Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary which is also a home to different species of animals and birds. The bumpy jeep safari to waterfall and time you would spend at the waterfall is going to leave you rejuvenated. So Keep your camera gears ready to capture the beautiful memories you create amidst your journey.
You will visit the Spice farm in Keri, Ponda where you will be served the herbal tea as a welcome drink which will be followed by a guided Spice Plantation tour of the farm where you will get to see a number spices which have a fantastic aroma. The spices seen are cloves, pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and many other spices which are processed in their natural environment. In your tour, you will be served a sumptuous Goan lunch.
If you wish, you can take an elephant ride and shower. The cost of this will not be included in the package charges, and you will be required to pay on the spot.

Pick Up from North Goa Hotel ( Calangute, Baga, Arpora, Nagoa, Candolim, Sinquerim, Nerul Area.) and journey to Mollem National Park Entrance
Walk for 200 meters and relax at the waterfall (Swim with life jackets on & get refreshed at the base of the waterfall. You will get 1 hr to spend here.
Jeep Safari back to Mollem National Park Entrance.
Guided Tour at the spice plantation followed by Goan style buffet lunch (Veg/Non-Veg). Optional Elephant Ride or Shower to be paid on the spot if operating
Visit Old Goa’s church Basilica of Bom Jesus (UNESCO World Heritage sites) (Optional)
The minibus will drop you at the parking area in Kulem, from where you have to walk towards the Doodhsagar taxi stand. Therefore the jeep safari for Dudhsagar Waterfalls starts from Kulem. The Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary and the jeep safaris are maintained by the Forest Department of Goa, and they would take you to the bottom of waterfalls through the famous Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary.
If you are not a group of seven people, then you have to form a group of seven people with other travelers. Please do not go to the jeep safari counter without a pre-formed group.
The Dudhsagar Waterfalls closes at 4:30 pm. Also, to make sure that all vehicles and tourists are not in the way of Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary (Mollem National Park), the sale of the tickets is closed around 2 pm.
The jeep safari will originate at Mollem, and you will go through the Mollem National Park which is 45 minutes to an hour drive approximately
A place known as Devil’s Canyon which is an eerie canyon of water is carved at the downstream of Dudhsagar Waterfalls. Devil’s Canyon is famous for its underwater currents, thereby, making it difficult and unsafe for even the strong swimmers to swim. Sunset point is a must visit which can be reached using the vehicle available for hiring at the sanctuary.
